“L’ombre de la terre” (The shadow of the earth) questions the production chains of contemporary knowledge. After a first chapter devoted to the means of knowledge production, Sarah Ritter – the 2021 winner of the Bourse de l’Institut – presents her new project based on land and maritime collections, and mining in particular, as part of a partnership between the Institut pour la photographie des Hauts-de-France and the Archives nationales du monde du travail.
