accessibility
The FRAC and LAAC are working to make art accessible to all. Both organisations offer services tailored to specific audiences.
HEARING-IMPAIRED PERSON
Visits in French Sign Language are organised from time to time by the Frac in partnership with the Accesourds du Littoral Dunkerquois association.
Visit in French Sign Language
In our desire to make the Frac and LAAC accessible to all, we offer tours in French sign language. These tours focus on exploring the building and exhibitions, and are guided by a mediator and translated by an interpreter from the “Accessourds” association. Although these tours are aimed at the deaf, they are open to everyone.
Bookings can be made directly with the association, and we’ll be sure to let you know when the next tour dates are.

Audiodescription
An audioguide is available for the visually impaired, to help them discover the building, its history and the architecture designed by architects Lacaton & Vassal.
Click here for the audiodescription tour.
The tour is complemented by relief maps, which give a better understanding of how the building is organised and functions, and how it fits into the Grand Large district.
Both are available from reception on request, and you will be asked for an identity card in exchange.
