Jürgen Nefzger is interested in the landscape, which he photographs with a camera, in a resolutely documentary vein. His unique landscape photography reveals the contemporary changes taking place in our society, through subjects such as urbanism, housing, suburban and rural areas, environmental traces and damage, and even seines.
As part of our participation in the ART & INDUSTRY Triennial organised by the Frac Grand-Large Hauts de France and the LAAC in Dunkirk, which focuses on the theme of energy, Galerie Robespierre will be presenting the artist’s Fluffy Clouds series, taking a tour of several European countries through their nuclear power stations. It’s a visual journey through the four seasons, examining Europe’s landscapes, climates and divergent positions on nuclear power.
Entre ciel et terre will also be presenting other photographs from this serial research, such as “Bure, ou la vie dans les bois” (Bure, or life in the woods).
