Guided tours:
Every Sunday, our mediators offer you a guided tour of the Art & Industry Triennial exhibition.
The programme changes every week to discover the Art & Industry Triennial exhibition Chaleur humaine on Sundays 25 June, 9, 16, 30 July & 13, 27 August.
Free admission every Sunday!
Unless otherwise stated, tours will be given in French.
HAVE FUN DISCOVERING THE MUSEUM!
Family tours (3-6 years)
The LAAC offers a family tour that combines observation and hands-on games.
Young and old alike can take a tour with a mediator and discover the emblematic works in the LAAC collection.
Every Sunday from 4.30pm to 5.30pm and FREE of charge.
Visit of the Chai
Come and discover the work of Jean-François KREBS “Guérit-Tout” occupying the wasteland of the Chai à vin!
Jean-François Krebs’ installation is made up of luminous beacons inspired by floating lights, while a uranium glass installation inspired by the ex-votos of seafarers’ families in the Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Dunes in Dunkirk is set in a basin.
The work is open from 11 June to 14 January 2024:
- Self-guided tours, Sundays from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm without prior booking
- Guided tours Monday to Friday for groups, Wednesdays at 3pm for individuals.

Throughout the summer, there will be walks to discover the works in the public space.
Personalities (artists, specialists, etc.) invite you to discover the Triennale from original points of view.

FAMILY VISIT
Would you like to spend some quality time with your family while discovering the works in the museum?
The LAAC offers you a fun family visit to the exhibition Chaleur humaine.
Let yourself be guided by a museum mediator for a moment of discovery, observation, complicity and exchange in front of the works of the temporary exhibition.

Masked men have got hold of the museum plans and materials from the building site. Like an architect, come and draw new plans, stack and assemble shapes to create your own architecture and change the landscape.

” Vous êtes ici “, that’s what the plan says! You’re right there at the precise rendezvous point, yet the space is deserted. The landscape has completely disappeared! Come and make your own map and invent your own codes to create new spaces and transform reality.

BIRTHDAY WORKSHOP :

The Frac-Grand-Large is a place for discovery, sharing and exchange. It welcomes groups from Tuesday to Friday, 9.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 5.30pm.
Reservations must be made at least one month before the date of the meeting.
Prices: free, €46 or €60 depending on the type of group.

Associations, leisure centres and the social field
The Frac’s primary ambition is to appeal to all audiences. Its mediators offer groups from associations, businesses, care facilities and groups of friends a tailor-made encounter at the heart of the exhibitions and its collection. In this friendly way, contemporary art takes on its full meaning.

The Frac’s visitors’ service regularly updates its range of visits and workshops, offering each level of visitor an opportunity to explore the exhibition in a way that suits them, from a storytelling exploration for the very young to a more in-depth exploration with specialist students. The team is also setting up a long-term art and design education programme, both in situ and for schools in remote areas.

Venture into the artistic world of artist Lucie Marchand. Manipulating materials and objects from the road, she questions their uses and textures. She proposes a reflection on our landscapes, our habitats, our intimacies.
