As part of the Resonance film screenings of the 2023 Art & Industry Triennial, the St Omer/Longuenesse Prison Centre is screening Camille Llobet’s film Pacheu as part of its Le souffle, l’air et l’eau programme.

A documentary essay on the Mont Blanc massif, produced in collaboration with mountain guides and geomorphologists against a backdrop of brutal climate change: melting glaciers, thawing permafrost, increased rock slides. Three “dialogues – field readings” combined with images of gestures and bodies make up sensitive and subjective narratives. The filming was conceived in terms of visual, sound, tactile and kinaesthetic sensations, to offer new ways of understanding the high mountains.
