As part of the Résonance film screenings at the Art & Industrie 2023 Triennial, the Lille-Sequedin prison is screening the film A Carp Jump In His Mind as part of Le souffle, l’air et l’eau.

We will see nothing of this film. A voice tells the story. The voice of a young Japanese man wandering in the mountains around Hiroshima, 60 years on. The story of the atomic bomb runs through its representations, including in manga, what it becomes through the eyes of this young man, what it conjures up in our imagination.
