As part of her residency with the Effet Papillon Fab Lab in Téteghem, Tiphaine Calmettes worked at the Relais des Moëres nursing home as part of a community that brings together the residents of a neighbourhood undergoing transformation, the residents of the nursing home and its day care service, and young people supported by the specialist prevention service. The open worksites provided an opportunity to share the creative process involved in building a raw-earth bread oven. From the heap of earth, trodden under foot, to the ornamental motifs, it is a customary sculpture that sees the light of day, and the fruit of a collective and shared energy.

The project is financed by the association “Territoire Europe” thanks to the patronage of the SYNDEX Foundation. With the support of the Papillons blancs de Dunkerque, the Communauté urbaine de Dunkerque, the Université du littoral, the Foyer d’accueil Médicalisé du Relais des Moëres, the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso, the Service accueil de Jour, the Association d’Action Educative et Sociale, the Esat-atelier du littoral de Téteghem, the town of Téteghem Coudekerque Village and the Conseil Citoyen de Teteghem Coudekerque Village.
Tiphaine Calmettes’ work can be viewed at the Relais de Moëres / Papillons Blancs from Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and at weekends during “Drôles de fêtes” from 3pm to 7pm (2 July, 15 July, 3 September, 23 September, etc.).
