Xavier Antin

Xavier Antin (Paris, 1981) lives and works in Paris. He trained in graphic design at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and at Royal College London. Using digital technologies, he is attempting to propose a new way of doing painting, drawing and plastic compositions. His work has been shown in a number of venues, including the Salon de Montrouge, the Résonnance Biennale in Lyon, the Milan Triennale, the Cneai (Chatou), the Parc Saint Léger (Pougues-les-Eaux) as part of the Hors les murs programme, the FRAC Île-de-France, the Villa Arson (Nice), La Halle des bouchers (Vienne) and the CAPC (Bordeaux). He has had several solo exhibitions at the Crèvecoeur gallery, the MABA (Nogent-sur-Marne) and the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, the BF15 (Lyon), Spike Island Art Centre (Bristol), and Aloft-Fondation Hermès (Singapore).
