Vibeke Mascini

Vibeke Mascini (1989) is a visual artist and writer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her research focuses on historical and futuristic concepts of electricity as a speculative agent of life. Her sculptures, installations, videos, and texts seek to channel an intimate understanding of electricity by establishing a direct relationship with its source. Vibeke Mascini was an artist in residence at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam (2021-2023). Recently, her work has been shown at the Liste Art Fair in Basel, Switzerland, among other exhibitions.
