Valérie Belin

Valérie Belin (Boulogne-Billancourt, 1964) lives and works in Paris. The visual artist studied at the École des Beaux-Arts de Versailles until 1985, and then at the École nationale supérieure d’art de Bourges (1985-1988). She also holds a postgraduate diploma in the philosophy of art from the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne (1989).
Her primary medium is photography, and her work takes the form of photographic series, each created as part of a project. Valérie Belin’s artworks have been exhibited worldwide and are part of numerous public and private collections. Recently, she exhibited at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing, SCôP in Shanghai, Chengdu Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
