Rob Crosse

1985, Londres, Royaume-Uni / Berlin, Allemagne

Rob Crosse (Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, 1985) is a British visual artist living in Berlin since 2018. He studied photography at the Arts University Bournemouth and completed his Master of Fine Arts at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. He participated in the Berlin Program for Artists (BPA) from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, he was awarded the Ars Viva Prize along with Sung Tieu and Richard Sides. Rob Crosse seeks ways to visualize and reinforce the value of old age, challenging the common association of aging with decline. Through video, photography, sculpture, drawing, and sometimes performance, Rob Crosse encourages reflection on the importance of intergenerational support. The artist has recently participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.
