Pia Rönicke

Pia Rönicke (Roskilde, 1974) lives and works in Copenhagen. In recent years, Pia Rönicke has been investigating various botanical collections. Her interest in herbariums is related to methods of indexing, which include both observation and representation. She seeks to examine the consequences of botanical systematization. She works with films, engravings, sculptures, and objects, which together construct broader narratives.
