MVRDV is a Dutch architecture and urban planning firm founded in 1993 in Rotterdam. The three founding architects are Winy Maas (born in 1958), Jacob van Rijs (born in 1965), and Nathalie de Vries (born in 1965). Today, MVRDV has over 200 employees and is globally committed to providing solutions to contemporary architectural and urban problems. Their design methodology is research-based and highly collaborative, engaging experts from various fields, clients, and stakeholders in the creative process.
