Minia Biabiany

Minia Biabiany (Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe, 1988) is a visual artist who lives and works between Mexico City, Mexico, and Saint-Claude, Guadeloupe. She graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 2011. She creates her works using poor and organic materials, and her practice aims to deconstruct social and cultural narratives. Her work has recently been exhibited at various venues, including the Magasin des horizons in Grenoble, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and La Verrière of the Fondation Hermès in Brussels.
