Michèle Katz (Paris, 1936) is a visual artist who lives and works in Paris. At the age of 18, she received training from André Lhote. Deeply inspired by her own existence, her life as a wife, woman, mother, activist, and her feminist demands, her drawings explore intimacy and serve as a chronicle of existence. Her works, including paintings, installations, performances, and artist’s books, communicate through a language without words, but with a strong and assertive message.
