Marc Giai-Miniet (Trappes, 1946) lives and works in Trappes, in the Yvelines region of France. He is a painter and engraver known for his surreal and phantasmagorical style. He graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Marc Giai-Miniet practices painting, watercolor, and engraving, and he also creates small boxes to be observed closely. His works are characterized by a sepulchral atmosphere.

In addition to his visual art, Marc Giai-Miniet creates artists’ books where his artworks accompany poems from various poets.
