Louise Hervé & Clovis Maillet, born in 1981, are an artist duo based in Paris. They have developed a practice where art and research intertwine. Their performances serve as the laboratory for their investigations, which take the form of genre films, installations, and publications, blending historical sources and field research. They explore how knowledge is transmitted and constructed.

Their work has been presented in exhibitions and festivals both in France (such as Hors Pistes at Centre Georges Pompidou/Musée national d’art moderne, Les Inattendus in Lyon) and internationally (including Festival Lo schermo dell’arte in Florence, Dallas Contemporary).
