Lisette de Greeuw (Hoorn, Netherlands, 1990) lives and works in Amsterdam. After studying at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent (Belgium), Lisette de Greeuw continued her artistic journey in the same city at HISK (2019). She has also been a resident at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam (2023).

In the creation of her drawings, the Dutch artist Lisette de Greeuw has developed a lexicon based on embroidery motifs. Her work involves a continuous experience of transformation where the boundary between the original and the copy becomes radically blurred. Through various artworks, she tests the structural limits of communication, aiming to reveal the issues and enrichments of language and translation.
