Helen Marten (Macclesfield, United Kingdom, 1985) lives and works in London. She studied at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts in London. Helen Marten works across sculpture, painting, video, and writing to create a body of work that questions the stability of the material world and our place within it. In 2016, she was awarded the Tate Turner Prize. Several solo exhibitions have been dedicated to her in the UK, Germany, and the United States. Her work is held in several international collections, including Tate Modern (London), MoMA (New York), and Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam).
