Ewa Partum

Ewa Partum (Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland, 1945) lives and works in Berlin. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, and later in Warsaw. Being part of the first generation of Polish conceptual artists, Ewa Partum paved the way for feminist performance art and body art, reflecting the political engagement of the former Eastern Europe. Her works are included in several public collections, such as the Reina Sofia in Madrid, MoMA in New York, and the FRAC Lorraine.
