Bernard Heidsieck (Paris, 1928 – Paris, 2014) was a French poet. He graduated from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (1952). Using the tape recorder since 1959 as a complementary means of writing, Bernard Heidsieck was one of the historical creators of “sound poetry” and “action poetry.” From 1970, he designed visual boards called “writing-collages,” which included integrated circuits or fragments of magnetic tapes used in the creation of his sound poems.
